Director of Admissions and Sales

We are looking for a RN or LPN looking to use both clinical and marketing skills who has the abliity to build professional relationships to serve as the Director of Sales and Marketing for our Long Term Care facility.

SUMMARY
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with referral sources. Conducts physical assessments and/or screening of potential residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Represents the company with professionalism to referral sources (i.e., care coordinators, discharge planners, social workers and physicians). Develops and maintains positive relationships to gain referrals.
· Assesses potential residents/patients and ccordinates with the DON/DNS ensure facility is able to provide appropriate level of clinical care.
· · Travels to hospitals to assess acute care residents; may also be required to do home-site visits.
· Serves as a member of the sales team.
· Meets with potential residents/patients and families to educate them of the facility services offered.
· Maintains contact and coordinates care with patients who return to hospital from facility to ensure facility care was satisfactory.
· Coordinates pre-authorization for managed care admissions.
· Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
· Maintains a strong working relationship with attending physicians in area hospitals to promote skilled services.
