Director, Information Technology

Hiring Range $79,000 - $127,000

The Director must possess the necessary combination of breadth of business scope, exceptional technical skills, and the management expertise to execute major projects. Outstanding communications skills are required, and a commitment to high ethics is essential.

Responsibilities  include:

• Participate in the formation and direct the implementation of  IT strategies, tactics, and processes aligned with the organization’s business direction.
• Recommend, implement, and support IT projects including technology infrastructure and software acquisition and development.
• Provide guidance to the organization on IT capabilities and strategic alternatives.
• Consult with various agencies outside the organization to ensure collaboration and coordination technology projects and data exchanges.
• Communicate business requirements to IT staff and direct implementation of cost effective and creative solutions.
• Collaborate with project management and operational departments to ensure successful project scope, priority and deployment with high levels of timeliness and customer service.
• Provide hands on technical leadership for Data Center Operations including a Team of Systems and Data Base Administrators.
• Lead an applications development team through an intermediate manager.
• Guide the professional development of exempt and non-exempt IT staff.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Services, Computer Science, or related Business Administration; supplemented by ten (10+) or more years of progressive management, administrative and technical experience with enterprise application software deployment, data center, and network operations.
