INTERNATIONAL SALES ENGINEER

  • Analyze markets/opportunities and utilize information to develop sales/marketing strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Communicate strategies to sales & marketing team and oversee implementation of marketing plans.
  • Work closely with Applications, R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing to guide the organization to new markets with feasible results.
  • Perform hands-on global sales activities from the generation of leads to development of sales proposals and contracts through to the closing of the sale.
  • Effectively utilize manufacturer representatives to generate leads.   Establish, maintain, and serve high-level industry relationships.
  • Focus on new business development within the Inorganic Chemical, Energy Systems, Advanced Materials, Solar, and Metal Oxide Processing industries.
  • Assess market competition and communicate relevant information as needed.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability by influencing a team of engineers and internal sales organization.
  • Determine the optimum mode of operation, in terms of territory, new business, and product lines.
  • Travel to domestic and international locations is expected to be up to 50%.
  • Company based in Buffalo, NY - Person could potential work anywhere in the US and travel from a home based office.
Requirements International Sales Engineer
  • BS Degree in Engineering

  • Five plus years experience in business development and selling.  

  • Experience with Advanced Materials or Chemical Processing Equipment.

  • International sales and business development experience preferred - not required.

  • Ability to travel Domestically and Internationally.
