Summary – Tax Manager - Public Accounting:

CPA firm in northern suburbs seeks Senior Tax Manager to oversee growing tax department.

We are a full service accounting and business-consulting firm. Our clients include public and private companies as well as high net worth individuals. Our expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as audits, financial statements, and financial planning.

We are looking to fill our Tax Manager position, who has the following responsibilities- Tax Manager - Public Accounting:

Review federal, state & local tax returns for Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, Tax Exempt Entities and Individuals.
Direct & monitor engagements, delegating work and coordinating current and future tax compliance work for clients.
Fixed asset maintenance, multi-state taxation and ability to research Federal, State & Local tax laws & issues.
Determine all information required to ensure complete accurate tax compliance within budget to ensure outstanding client service.
Interaction with clients, manage expectations in a professional environment to provide comprehensive tax services.

Requirements

Tax Manager - Public Accounting

Requirements - Tax Manager - Public Accounting:

Undergraduate degree in related field.
Minimum of 5 years tax experience.
CPA.
Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems.
Excellent supervisory, analytical and leadership ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PC skills.
