CNA / Certified Nursing Assistants - Part Time

Responsible for all direct resident care under supervision of the charge nurse. Identifies special resident problems and reports them to charge nurse. Respond appropriately to the feelings of others by listening attentively and taking action.

Works with a cooperative spirit. Comes to work as scheduled. Please be dependable.

Changes linens and helps residents start off their day with proper toiletries. Pays special attention to oral hygiene and care of nails and hair. Turns all bed and chair residents every two hours and help other to daily activities.

Charts all residents, making sure to include a narrative note about the activity.

Requirements

Have immediate need for:

 

• 10pm-6am: part-time position

High School Diploma desirable. Previous experience preferable. Completion or enrollment in a state-approved pre-certification training program.

Must be in good physical health. Must have good nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge and competence. Demonstrate consistent ability to work cooperatively with residents, nursing staff, physicians, families, consultant personnel, community agencies and ancillary service providers. Please have sensitivity to feelings of others by listening and taking follow-up action as necessary.

Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs, or carry approximately 10 lbs short distances, such as moving supplies within the facility.
