Summary:

Super-Dog Pet Food Company, a distributor of quality pet foods and supplies, is seeking a person with a well-rounded accounting background who can manage a heavy work load, produce accurate work and meet aggressive deadlines to support our high customer service level. 

Responsibilities include:

• Verify invoices against stock receipts & purchase orders.
• Resolve discrepancies.
• Insure payments made timely with all discounts taken.
• Process vendor bill backs.
• Process customer credits.
• Process coupon credits and reconcile for vendor bill backs.
• Maintain accurate accounting records.
• Filing.

• One to two years experience in accounting in an office environment. 

• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software is required. 

• Bookkeeping and strong math background necessary. 

• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers are necessary.
