System Developer II, III
The CT Judicial Branch is seeking an individual with strong and diverse VAX/Alpha COBOL application development experience to support, enhance and develop a portfolio of applications supporting our Court Operations and Administrative Services Divisions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience and an understanding of industry best practices relating to VAX/Alpha COBOL, Datatrieve, DCL, RMS, ACMS, TDMS, VMS, SQL Server, Attunity, SDLC, source-code management, build/test/release processes and standards review/enforcement. Technology experience must include VAX/Alpha COBOL, Datatrieve, DCL, ACMS, RMS, VMS and SQL Server. Also desired experience with MS Project, Attunity, MQ SharePoint and TDMS. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of technical and non-technical staff are critical.

Requirements
Experience:
· For the Developer II position - Six or more years of experience in application development and support. College training in Management Information Systems or a related field may be substituted to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s Degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one additional year of the experience.
· For the Developer III position - Eight or more years of experience in application development and support. Two years of the experience must have been in the design and development of computer applications. College training in Management Information Systems or a related field may be substituted to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s Degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one additional year of the experience.
