Be part of one of the premiere child and adolescent mental health systems in the state. NWCGC is a mental health agency that provides intensive, therapeutic Day Treatment services in 11 locations statewide to children and adolescents who have severe emotional disorders.

NWCGC is currently seeking fill-in mental health professional staff at Northwest Journey - Eau Claire.  This program is a children's mental health day treatment program. You will work directly with children and adolescents as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team treating emotional and behavioral disorders.

In this position you will: 

• Design and facilitate mental health groups with children and adolescents
• Work with a team to evaluate progress and alter individual treatment plan strategies 
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision that is provided on site by a Licensed Psychologist

Requirement Section:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, etc.) 
• Total of 2 years of full time experience or the equivalent (pre and post grad both) with children or adolescents with mental health disorders

The ability to be creative and design interesting and hands-on therapeutic and educational mental health groups is imperative. Role modeling and teaching clients positive social skills and accountability are critical. Communication within the team is essential. Staff with high skill levels can cross train into other positions for advancement and career enhancement.
