Job Description

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

 

  • Develop new products and processes for future production.

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

 

Develop new products and processes for future production.

  • Work with customers to develop new products, and processes for new products.
  • Develop new manufacturing processes.
  • Manage capital equipment purchase, process, justification and sourcing.
  • Develop new tooling concepts and applications.
  • Review and approve tooling designs and modifications.
  • Give support to APQP activities and provide required documentation.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BSME degree preferred.
  • Expertise in CAD tools and software.
  • Capital procurement experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Industrial engineering / cost engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Familiar with current QMS system and documentation




 

Job Requirements

Must come from an automotive Tier 2 high speed manufacturing setting.

BSME required.
