Job Description

Spring Branch Transitional Care Center, a 198 bed long term care facility of excellence is searching for a talented Marketing/Admissions Director to join our team!

Position Summary:

Develops and manages initial contact as necessary with discharge planner, family or responsible party to initiate tour of facility and follow up procedures. Responsible for marketing facility services to key physicians, social worker, case managers and other community referral sources.

 

Manages the admission process to include: conduct effective tours that promote conversion to admission, timely completion of admission paperwork, coordinate clinical and financial approvals for admission, communication with families and staff to ensure admission process is seamless.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.

Two plus years experience in an Admissions/Marketing position in a long term care environment.

Clinical background (RN, LVN, RT) a plus

Working knowledge of Houston Medical Center a plus

Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing.

Knowledge of medical terminology – ability to discuss clinical evaluations with physicians and other care givers within facility.

Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills.

Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.



Only candidates with long term care marketing/admissions experience will be considered.
