Customer Account Manager

TransAm Trucking is a full truckload trucking company, specializing in hauling time and temperature sensitive products.  The corporate office is located in Olathe, KS, a suburb of the Kansas City metropolitan area.  TransAm Trucking Inc. has been in business since 1987 and has enjoyed a steady, controlled growth.  In 1999 the company moved to a newly built office and shop facility located on 40 acres of land.  We are a refrigerated carrier in the business of hauling freight for manufacturers, distributors, and any truckload shipper with refrigerated or dry freight.  TransAm operates 900 tractors with 1600 trailers, and services the eastern 2/3 of the country – from the Colorado Rockies to the East Coast, and down the eastern seaboard to Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, and Alabama.

At this time we have an immediate opening in our Customer Service Department for a Customer Account Manager. This person is accountable for a group of existing customers, ranging from national to mid-sized accounts. Duties include calling customers to book business, entry of data into the computer, handling all service issues as they arise, and scheduling pick-ups and deliveries. 

This position is a full-time, hourly position working Monday-Friday.  TransAm offers a casual, smoke-free work environment with complete benefits package.
