A&E MANAGER
Title Architecture & Engineering Manager
Job Description The A&E Manager (Design Services) working in the national market is assigned to the Project Manager. The responsibilities of the A&E Manager include supporting the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, budget, quality control and design production. The A&E Manager is also responsible for design, planning, scheduling, reporting, quality and production coordination with the Project Team and vendors. The A&E Manager develops client relationships by providing quality services to meet delivery requirements.
Requirements
KEY DUTIES:

Reports directly to the Project Manager

Responsible for implementing and monitoring established QA/QC processes for design and 3rd party deliverables

Participate in the development of the delivery schedule
-
Monitor, manage and report on the project schedule status
-
Manage and report project financial budgets, performance status and estimates to complete (EAC) for assigned tasks
-
Perform multiple tasks as requested to support the Project Manager
-
Compliance and requirements of the national contracts.

Fulfill the requirements of the project team charter
-
Review and approve technical and quality standards of the designs.

Integrate the key components of the A&E services for efficient project work flow

Manage and report on performance and quality of 3rd party consultants
-
Identify and mitigate project risks that may compromise project budget, schedule and/or performance.

Responsible for the coordination of Architectural & Engineering services for new site builds or site modifications.

Insure all requirements are accurately and timely documented and managed through coordination of A&E walks with local utility engineers, site acquisition specialists, construction managers, surveyors and RF engineers.

Review of all drawings throughout design process.

Order all drawings, structural analysis, and geo tech. Issue change orders if required.

Provide current survey easement delineation.

Visit sites to confirm A&E drawings are correct and best serve end user.

Track all pertinent data in MS Excel spreadsheet

Prepare progress reports for all sites and attend weekly meetings to update on information on a site by site basis.
