Requirements

Our Bilingual Patient Account Representative works out of College Station Medical Center and works in hospital systems and assist self-pay patients in determining if they are eligible for federal, state or county funding for their medical bills. These individuals instruct and assist patients with eligibility processes and ensure timely billing of transmittal accounts. This position is responsible for making decisions on routine problems and working with their Manager with non-routine questions. The Patient Account Representative must also establish strong, quality relationships with the hospital staff and patients. Excellent follow through skills during the application process to ensure payment is a must!

 

Minimum requirements for our Patient Account Representative are as follows:

•BILINGUAL IS A MUST

•Must have Excellent Customer Service skills - this position is a "Key" Representative of the Company - we want a great "People Person";

•Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent work experience;

•Must be able to drive to the HCFS office, to patient rooms, other hospital offices and governmental agencies; and

•Must possess great written and verbal skills.


Works hours are 2-10pm Tuesday through Saturday.
