Description
The Customer Service Representative II is responsible for obtaining information requested by policyholders and agents, and relaying the information in written correspondence and by telephone.
Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:30am - 6:00pm with a 45 minute lunch break. This person will also be required to work a Saturday rotation and a holiday rotation.
Responsibilities include:
• Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to FBL Financial Group, Inc policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, departmental staff, and other FBL personnel at all times.
• Answers written, telephone or face-to-face inquires with policyholders and agents regarding coverage, rating, billing procedures.
• Update rating information and verifies accuracy of policy information.
• May solicit expiration dates and increases or additional coverage.
• Operate a PC to secure policy information and to make address changes.
• Dictate letters to policyholders and agents in answer to questions concerning policies.
• Assist in training of entry-level associates.
