Purpose of Position

Lead assigned shift of the DC operation. Responsible for supervision of all hourly personnel and equipment to meet shipping and receiving requirements. Will train and direct hourly employees in the Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor:

• Monitor work flow and make proper adjustments as the daily plan changes.
• Responsible for overall shift productivity.
• Recommend and implement productivity and process improvements.
• Train and develop employees.
• Provide coaching, counseling and mentoring as needed to employees to ensure success.
• Utilize techniques of lean manufacturing to ensure continuous improvement and meeting of standards within facility
