Entry Level Accounting

A company headquartered in Downtown Denver is looking for an entry level accounts payable clerk.  This position is a contract with a strong possibility of hire and will offer the right candidate the opportunity to learn a full cycle accounts payable role.  The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of accounting experience or an accounting internship through school and will have a desire to work in a long term stable position in Downtown Denver.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Processing invoices 
• Working in a proprietary system
• Check Reconciliation
• Perform all data entry for the accounting department
• Invoice reconciliation, coding, and billing
• Answer and direct department phone calls 
• Perform filing for accounting department      
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets

•  Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel

• At least 6-12 months of accounting experience

• 10-Key by touch 

• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

• Willingness to present a polished and professional image at all times

• Excellent communication skills
