Job position: Senior Biologist- Molecular Bioinformatician

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12 Months

Duties:

We are particularly interested in candidates with interest and expertise in one of the following areas: applications of next-generation sequencing, epigenetics/epigenomics, development of predictive pathway/network models, pharmacogenetics/genomics, and biomarker development to support responder/non-responder prediction in clinical trials.

Skills:

Proven experience in the independent design and execution of research using genomic discovery technology, computational data mining, and experimental validation of hypotheses.

A strong publication of research and development findings, and fostering appropriate external contacts, as well as building collaborative relationships with basic and clinical therapeutic record and exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The successful candidate will lead a research team including an experimental lab technician and one or more postdoctoral fellows, and will leverage internal capabilities including high performance computing, whole transcriptome microarray profiling, massively parallel sequencing, miRNA profiling and established molecular biology lab facilities.

Education: Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
