Family Preservation Services of Florida is seeking candidates to become part of a highly professional, creative and energetic team focused on improving community-based behavioral healthcare to children and adults.
Provide consultation to and for FPSFL Children and Adult’s Community Mental Health Programs
Provide treatment planning consultations with Treatment Team Members
Provide routine and emergency psychiatric evaluations during normally scheduled work hours and after hours consultation on a telephone basis, of cases assigned to Psychiatrist including admission, psychiatric evaluations and mental statute exams
Available for regular medication reviews and will work with FPSFL Treatment Team to reduce medication utilization and or to replace such medication with other interventions whenever possible.
Available for crisis evaluation as needed in instances such as suicidal gestures, homicidal threats, involuntary psychiatric hospitalization, and other instances in which the physical and mental health of a child or adult involved is in question during normal scheduled work hours.
Attend all meetings, audits, and related activities as necessary
