Subrogation - Warranty Coordinator
SUMMARY
The incumbent is responsible to research and determine responsibility of damages incurred to JBH equipment. Examine warranty dates and send claims to vendors. Create awareness to lower the amount of damage to our equipment and recoup as many dollars as possible. Receive, record, and review all denied claims.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Utilize all warranty databases to include new units.
2. Submitting electronic warranty repairs to vendors for validation.
3. Investigate warranty claims not settled within 60 days.
4. Run report showing work volume and status of specific regions.
5. Monitor part scrap and retention for all maintenance facilities nationwide.
6. Create monthly and weekly reports regarding processed claims and Key Points of Interest.
7. Forecast monthly claims and develop trends for units with expiring warranties.
8. Communicate with vendors regarding warranty and out-of-warranty issues.
9. Develop warranty practices and policies to assist outside vendors.
10. Audit parts retention and inventory through queries and databases.
11. Research vendor sites for warranty and parts information.
12. Understand and forecast the department budgets.
13. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
