Description
Faith Presbyterian Hospice, a member of the Presbyterian Communities and Services family, is committed to providing exceptional care with a complete range of services, complementary therapies, and special programs. Our mission is to provide exceptional care for individuals of any faith that face a life-limiting illness. We are currently seeking a On Call Registered Nurse to add to our team of caring, compassionate individuals.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4 p.m. - 12 a.m
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Assume primary responsibility for patients/families after-hours, on-call that includes patient visits, death pronouncement, and admissions as needed.
Requirements
Possession of a valid Texas Registered Nurse License; BSN preferred
Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language
Minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse and preferably one of the two years in an acute setting
Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable method of transportation
