This individual interfaces directly with the SG implementation manager to execute the SG work plan.

The steam generator (SG) implementation manager provides leadership for work execution activities associated with the scope of work under the sponsorship of Duke Energy's Steam Generator Maintenance and Engineering (SGME) group.  The IM ensures that all work activities are properly identified, planned, scheduled and reviewed prior to implementation. During work execution, the IM is to ensure effective schedule and work order task look-aheads are performed, oversight of work is provided and tasks are closed out properly.  A key responsibility of this role is to eliminate barriers that could potentially affect the team's ability to prepare for and execute work in a safe and quality manner within the constraints of the outage schedule. This individual interfaces with the SGME job sponsor, nuclear site and vendor personnel to develop and implement the SG work plan. Effective communication with these interfaces is critical.
