Server Analyst
TM Floyd has a great opportunity working as a
Server Analyst in Columbia, SC!
Responsibilities would include researching, analyzing, and developing solutions for security vulnerabilities found on Windows servers, correcting technical problems within defined SLAs, documenting incidents, performing server checks prior to server deployment to the network, and configuring and maintaining server systems using industry best practices and securing servers.
Server Analyst will be responsible for monitoring server performance, replacing hardware as needed, and minimizing risk to the business by monitoring potential hardware failures and by employing appropriate mitigation.
Server Analyst must also be able to work with a flexible schedule.
Required Skills:
- Windows 2000, Windows 2003 configuration and administration
- Advanced Shell Scripting
- Active Directory
- UNIX/AIX
- Familiarity with secure configuration of Network services/DNS, SSH, FTP
Desired Skills:
- Patch Management
- Configuration Management
