Position Description:
OptumHealth is seeking an Associate Capability Specialist to assist in the design, development, and management of new interactive products and/or capabilities within our Interactive Health Management team.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Identifying and documenting business/market requirements aligned with corresponding business initiatives
• Collaboration with other specialists, capability leads, and senior leadership on strategic direction of the core product / capability offering
• Assisting in the business review of technical use case design, application development process and user-acceptance testing
• Helping to drive internal training processes and positioning for external marketing communications

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter that takes initiative and is comfortable working with limited direction from his/her manager
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  
• 2 to 5 years business analysis or interactive product management experience 
  
• Experience in software or web-based product development from a business perspective
  
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, as well as experience with Visio and MS Project
  
• Previous experience in health care a plus
  
• Exposure to product development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc. a plus
