PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CSS Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing analyses for financial data related to Service. This includes sales and margins trends by customer and product, product pricing, customer discounts and department operating expenses. This position will also have limited month end responsibilities including journal entry preparation and inventory reconciliations. This position will work with the Global Service Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Service data and report writing.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Financial Reporting
� Assist with the development, preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports, investigating trends and anomalies.
� Prepare month end journal entries and related analyses as assigned.
� Work closely with the Global Service Finance Director to develop OBI dashboards of financial data to provide managers with financial results and trends.
� Reconcile the CSS domestic inventory GL balances to their corresponding perpetual inventory balances.
� Oracle maintenance for parts pricing and contract entitlements. This includes monitoring changes to install base and contract items and making necessary updates to correct entitlements and customer receivables balances.
� Assist with updating install base items for proper warranty entitlement to customers.
� Identify root causes of process errors to provide effective feedback to department managers.
� Schedule and prepare various month end reports.
Continuous Improvements
� Participate in weekly production issues meetings to drive system improvements as needed.
� Assist CSS departments as needed to improve processes and controls to drive efficiencies and cost effectiveness within CSS operations to drive customer satisfaction and profitability.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
� Bachelor�s degree in Accounting or Finance.
� Proven analytical skills along with a keen attention to detail.
� Experience with Oracle, OBI, Business Objects, Microsoft Suite
� Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
