St. Luke’s Community Hospital~The Woodlands is a member of the St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System…family-centered, faith-based, 150 bed hospital. They provide compassionate care in a state-of-the-art facility that includes an emergency department, newborn and infant nurseries, diagnostic imaging services, labor and delivery rooms, family lounges on each floor, and more. A Pharmacy Technician at St. Luke’s Community Hospital~The Woodlands assists in various pharmacy activities, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and other duties not requiring the review of a pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include: maintaining patient records; setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses. They perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines and state regulatory requirements. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion. This is a full time position that will be scheduled evenings (2:30p-11p)shifts and includes a weekend rotation. Our candidate must have experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting and effective verbal and written communication skills. TX licensure required.
