Position Description: Purpose:
The General Manager is responsible for all CWT business matters (financial performance, customer service, Program management, and new sales) in the energy services division for NORAM. The General Manager will have direct reports for the vertical markets program management team. The General Manager will also be responsible for active networking of other Carlson company contacts and CWT suppliers in the energy services division. This position will be responsible for growing the newly created energy services team in North America by driving program management for these clients as well as driving new sales for the region.
Responsibilities:
- Retain current clients and assist in upselling opportunities
- Assist business development in defining market strategy and in new sales initiatives
- Develop and reward account management employees
- Profitability responsibility for market
- Develop relationships with suppliers, industry consultants as well as participate in industry functions on behalf of CWT
- Interface with Business Development, Account Management and Operations to inform, educate and review energy services, products and services and increase new sales as a result of this education.
- Development of project plans, scope of work and management of all project-related activities
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting recommendations to executive management
Position Requirements: Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Program Management and strong sales support experience preferred
- Previous people management preferred
- Excellent relationship building skills along with strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
