The Human Resources Manager, located in our Westlake location, is responsible for aligning human resources processes and solutions to meet the business needs of the Corporate Information Technology Group (CITG). Administers and executes human resource policies, programs and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordination and directing. This individual is also responsible for tactical implementation of a variety of human resources programs and initiatives and must keep current on federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations in order to ensure company’s legal compliance through policy setting, practice standards, and advice to management.

  • Acts as a strategic business partner with assigned client groups to assist, guide, and direct management in all areas of human resources and align human resources solutions with business needs.
  • Advises management on risk assessment, balancing legal requirements with business needs.
  • Partners with top management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of human resources activities and solutions.
  • Sets standards for measurements and participates in audits and compliance reviews.
  • Responsible for managing several human resources functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, training, equal employment/affirmative action, records, safety and health, benefits and employee services for assigned client groups and/or business unit.
  • Develops spreadsheets, tools, systems, and/or other creative and simple techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
  • Participates in recruiting efforts either by working closely with staffing department or directly recruiting for positions.
  • May supervise other human resources staff (e.g., HRGs, Coordinators, etc.)
  • Develops and implements objectives, policies and priorities for work assignments.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data required an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.


    Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional human resources experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Additional HR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office and HRIS/AT systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and follow up skills
  • Experience with communication and administration of sales compensation plans a plus
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent business and analytical skills
