Job Description

 

The territory covers the Americas with 50% travel and located in Dallas, Texas.  This is a highly skilled technical and consultative job role.

 

As a Pre-sales Services Architect you are the leading role in the design, scoping, and development of integrated solutions or the architecture of a total solution.  You will be responsible for the validity and completeness of the integrated consulting solution (defining people, process, technology, and partner offerings).


 
Responsibilities include:
  • Generate new and innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Display a high level of decision-making
  • Give key input and participate in the definition of an organization's strategy
  • Influence middle and senior management clients during design and development of complex client deliverables
  • Participate in internal/external forums as a recognized expert
  • Maintain technical expertise on emerging technologies
  • Demonstrate strong sales and presentation skills, conducting seminars in areas of competence 
  • Leader in the execution and application of standard methodologies
  • Team leader and mentor to other consultants
  • Conduct consulting work shops with customers that results in output strategies.

Requirements your profile

 
Bachelor's or Master's technical degree or a combination of education and experience; prefer 10+ years technical systems and soluions presales experience. 
  • Experience in technical or sales function
  • Proven track record solutioning servcies opportunities in outsroucing, technical services or other equivalent businesses
  • Demonstrated minimum of 5 years in print/print services marketplace working with large customers.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt solutions creatively
  • Ability to work under pressure with high energy, accuracy and flexibility
  • Demonstrated spreadsheet and powerpoint skills at medium to high levels 
  • Hardcopy product knowledge
  • Outsourcing experience
  • Distributed Print/Copy experience
  • Digital Publishing
  • Document Management
  • HP Imaging and Printing Product/Solution knowledge
  • Consulting and Integration Services experience 
  • IT System Administration experience 
  • Color Expertise
  • Web JetAdmin Training
  • SAP R/3 training
  • Work Flow Management skills
  • Knowledge of mainframe data center printing processes
