Description Child Care Referral and Information Specialist


Child Care Resource seeks a unique individual who is equally skilled in customer service and information management to fill the position of Child Care Referral and Information Specialist. The 25 hour per week position has two main duties: helping clients make child care choices on the phone and through the web and; developing and implementing procedures to maintain accurate referral data and easy-to-use web-based services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services or education. Basic knowledge of the regulated child care system a plus. In addition, the candidate will have excellent customer service skills, experience with databases and surveys; excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and; a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members.
