Job Description

Ann Arbor, MI - The Research Imaging Sales Representative will promote microscope imaging systems business in the assigned territory by identifying customers, configuring customized systems, demonstrating, installing, teaching and supporting said systems and customers. EOE M/F/D/V

* Work in conjunction with Dealer and/or Olympus Sales Representatives to make imaging system sales.

 

* Configure customized imaging systems.

 

* Perform customer demonstrations.

 

* Quote imaging systems costs.

 

* Close imaging systems sales.

 

* Install customer systems and train system users.

 

* Provide post-sale system support.

 

* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and optical problems.

 

* Attend 2-4 trade shows per year to demonstrate imaging systems.

 

* Attend 1-3 scientific courses per year as commercial faculty.

 

* Attend sales meetings.

 

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

 

* A Bachelor of Science degree in natural sciences is preferred.

 

* A minimum of 4 years of experience in imaging systems software and technology is required.

 

* Microscopy imaging experience; specifically in computer integration, scientific imaging software, CCD camera knowledge and PMT knowledge is essential.

 

* Must have the ability to travel regularly within a given territory.
