Job Description 

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager for a 400 bed acute care facility located in St. Louis, Missouri. The General Manager is reponsible for the overall direction of the Food and Nutrition Department; including financial accountability, patient services, retail food service, food production and catering services. This position manages a Clinical Nutrition Manager, Patient Services Manager, Production Manager and an Executive Chef. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills and a proven track record for success in At Your Request patient dining, innovative retail and catering operations, and strong financial abilities. Relocation assistance is available with this position.



Position Summary:

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Basic Education Requirement:

Associate's Degree

Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:

3 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience

Basic Functional Experience Required:

4 year(s) You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.Position Posting Title: General Manager 5 - Food
