Job Description

Job Summary

The Medical Director, Hematopathology reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for providing scientific and clinical direction for the Hematopathology Subspecialties in Chantilly to maximize quality patient care.  Furthermore, will ensure continuous business growth of the specialty companywide through constant delivery of new, innovative products.  Will interface with Marketing and Business Development and provide oversight for Hematopathology.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • M.D. with AP/CP Certification.
  • Possess a broad knowledge of clinical medicine, basic medical sciences, clinical laboratory sciences and operations.
  • Proven industry executive with a minimum of 7 years' medical director experience in a laboratory or teaching setting.
  • Subspecialty expertise in hematopathology with certification is preferred.
