Job Description

TitleMax, the leader of the title lending industry, with 550+ locations in eight states, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for the new corporate location in Alpharetta, Georgia.  He/She will serve as a Project Manager for initiatives as defined by the Executive team.  In this role, the PM will establish and manage change control for  projects spanning multiple departments.  This role requires senior level communication and strategic planning to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.  The PM will work closely with the Director of Project Management to plan, direct and coordinate projects from the contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.   




Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the business needs and lead the vendor selection for the best solutions.
  • Work across organizations to define business needs and translate into requirements.
  • Translate the business needs into the appropriate project plan.
  • Establish critical milestones, monitor progress and report on project status.
  • Establish appropriate metrics to measure project criteria.
  • Will serve as a point of communication which includes providing regular project status reports, coordinating and leading project meetings, and communicating directly with department leaders and vendors.
  • Track and report the project budget.
  • Manage outside consultants as necessary.
  • Lead change management efforts, including designing and executing communication and training plans.
  • Collaborate with IT and system vendors to understand the future direction of products, assess the impact on business processes and evaluate technology solutions on behalf of all departments in the business.
  • Continually assess future process improvement and automation needs and ensure that users are achieving optimal productivity in their use of business unit systems.
 
Job Requirements

Project Manager Requirements:

  • 5 years of full-cycle project management experience with proven success in:
    • Project management practices and techniques
    • Establishing and managing best practice Change Control procedures
    • Stakeholder management, including department leaders, vendors and consultants
    • Knowledge management
    • Impact analysis
    • Business Analysis and requirement documentation
    • Budget control
  • PMP or Six Sigma strongly preferred
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, excellent follow-through, strong organizational skills and effective business development skills.
  • Advance ability in MS Project and MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is strongly preferred.
  • Exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
