Responsibilities
-Assist Senior Accountant and Director in preparing quarterly and annual SEC filings -Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial and operating reviews for senior management -Assist Director and Senior in preparing CFO for quarterly analyst calls -Assist Senior Accountant in all aspects of accounting for Stock-based compensation -Assist in the preparation of Captive Insurance financial statements -Prepare annual Moody?s Foundation Financial Statements -Assist in all required ERISA financial statements for 401k and pension plans -Maintain and improve schedule for consolidated tracking of intangible assets for reporting purposes -Assist in Phase II of XBRL implementation (tagging of footnotes) -Prepare monthly restructuring analyses and journal entries for restructuring -Responsible for preparation of all intercompany cross charges involving stock-options and restricted stock -Develop Hyperion reports for use in financial reporting -Ad hoc projects as they arise
Qualifications
-1-3 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting -Basic knowledge of SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP -Candidate must be extremely detail oriented -Strong communication skills as group interacts frequently with senior management
