job description

This position will be responsible for coordinating Training & Development projects and providing support to the Finance Training & Development (FTD) Team, including two Directors and two Managers. The FTD Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and tracking of FTD projects, meetings, training sessions, managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and related materials. In addition to these areas, the FTD Coordinator will prepare presentations, initiate and modify spreadsheets, analyze data and create reports, and perform other tasks as needed (e.g. make travel arrangements, manage calendars)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage training/meeting logistics, such as scheduling sessions and rooms, coordinating materials, invitations, evaluations, as well as food, and travel as needed.
  • Provide support in the development and proofreading of meeting/workshop presentation/materials--this could include course content, handouts, visual charts,
  • PowerPoint slides and overhead slides.
  • Maintain and utilize the LMS to support the training initiatives. 
  • Manage, track and report enrollment of participants in training sessions
  • Administer, track, analyze and report evaluations of training and events
  • Maintain all training files for the FTD department including MooSpace
  • Answer questions and inquires of FTD training
  • Responsible for maintaining busy calendars -- scheduling meetings and booking travel utilizing the online booking system.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and training materials.
  • Oversee production of complex presentations or large mailings to field locations.
  • Coordinate and schedule team meetings and conference calls as needed.


job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.Strong project management capability - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analysis and report writing skills; Ability to perform data analysis and communicate the results in a clear and effective manner.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while meeting demanding time constraints.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a self-starter.
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience of using Lotus Notes and previous knowledge and experience using other Learning Management Systems (e.g. Skillsoft).
  • Strong knowledge of Lotus Notes.
  • Understanding and adhering to strict confidentiality when necessary.
  • Prior work experience in Training Development a plus.
  • Knowledge of Training & Development processes and interventions desired.
