Job Description

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

In this position incumbents are expected to be responsible for the overall supervision of those projects which are assigned to them, to assure that the project conforms to the commitments the firm has made to the client, and that the project is completed within the allocated period of time and within the monetary budget that has been assigned. The Process/Design Engineer may be responsible for several concurrent projects. The position required experience in the areas of process design, water and wastewater treatment plant design ; water and wastewater pump station design (modeling); stream studies; storm water management; combined sewer flow abatement; treatability studies; site investigations and evaluations; site audits; underground and aboveground storage tank removals and designs; site remediation; groundwater remediation; site planning; permitting and funding; and regulatory compliance.

Typical Duties may include, but are not limited to addressing technical issues during construction and providing quality control of documents prepared for the projects. This position will include design, bid assistance, drawing review, and design services during construction. The development of technical skills of subordinates is also a part of the position.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum years of experience: 7
  • Education required: Environmental, Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree
  • Registrations/Certifications required: P.E Registration
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
