Description Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Emery & Webb, Inc. is a full service independent insurance agency with offices located in New York and throughout New England with customers across the United States.

We are seeking to fill a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative position in our Fishkill, NY office. This is a full time, non-exempt position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing a high volume of customers
Answer telephone and in-person inquiries from new and existing customers
Explaining coverage to insured’s by giving clear and accurate information
Providing and creating necessary documents for customers
Rating of policies using EZ Lynx and various carrier websites
Written communication with customers and carriers
Document all phone calls and conversations
Servicing customers using AMS Products, Microsoft Office, and carrier websites
Proactively seeking new coverage opportunities from new and existing clients

Skills Needed:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong Computer Skills
Professional oral and written communication skills
Ability to display smile over the phone
Organized, motivated, and detailed oriented
Professional appearance
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast paced office environment

Requirements:
Experience in customer service
High School Diploma or equivalent
2-3 years experience in personal lines insurance
Property & Casualty Insurance license
Reliable transportation to the office
Experience with AMS Products is a plus
