Experienced Medical Records Professional Needed ASAP!

Job Description

Randstad has an immediate opening for a temporary-to-hire position in Providence, RI. We are looking for experienced candidates ONLY. Specifically, we are seeking candidates with a successful background in dealing with medical records.

This role will not involve any patient contact; however it will be in a medical setting. Candidates must have the flexibility to work until 8pm on select nights. The work schedule will likely be 9am-5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours on Tuesdays and Thursday will likely be 12pm - 8pm. We are looking for individuals with proven reliability, good transportation or previous experience with using the RIPTA system for work.

Working hours: 9am-5pm

Job Requirements

This position requires:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with medical records
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and compliance of associated HIPPA regulations
  • Solid computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter medical data
  • Experience with medical terminology (passing a medical terminology assessment will be required)
