Provider Data Associate
Maintains current provider data to ensure the quality of the network. May coordinate provider enrollment, and assist with coordination of meetings with providers for training, contracting, and reporting. Updates directories for all contracted organizations. Responsible for reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints..Performs data entry and maintenance of practitioner and vendor contracts on all CIGNA transactional platforms.
Maintains practitioner capitation arrangements on all CIGNA transactional platforms.
Conducts telephonic outreach to physician offices to clarify information regarding physician profiles, addresses, and other key physician / physician group information.
Acts as Initial point of contact for claim research issues. Resolves claim issues.
Communicates practitioner and vendor demographic and reimbursement setups to matrix partners.
Provides data entry for provider directories..

Requirements
Associates/Bachelor's degree in business or related field or 2 to 3 years experience in a productivity and QA setting using data entry skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff.
Strong computer background including proficiency with Windows software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access (or equivalent data base experience).
Ideal backgrounds include extensive experience with complex data entry, matrix management, programming, math, and/or logic.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Proven skills in data management accuracy.
Strong time management skills.
Strong investigative and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently as part of and in support of a team environment..
