We are seeking a Business Process Auditor for our First Advantage SafeRent division located in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities of this position include:
Receives new data/initial update from data librarian and analyzes it based on supplied documentation/requirements.
Logs all properties and files format/data format changes based on Conversion Updates Frequency document and input layout documentation (supplied files update date, field counts, record counts, file size, files counts, files formats).
Runs occasional simple queries to verify the fatality of the format change, if any
Reports all the changes in format to the IT development team.
Analyzes business requirements and helps translate them to automated solutions, specifications and design.
Prepares test data and test environment.
Executes, documents and validates test cases against system changes.
Defines system and user acceptance criteria.
Evaluates and tests external software packages.
Prepares product environment.
Documents all software changes associated with an implementation.
Tests and maintains data integrity in test environment.
Prior QA, analysis and/or data management experience a must
BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
Prior exposure to working in a mathematical, programming or DB environment preferred
Demonstrated analytical and reasoning skills
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
Must be proficient with MS Access and MS Excel.
Familiarity with AS/400 desired
