Job Description

The Material Handler position performs various functions in the warehouse, but does not operate any powered equipment.  The responsibilities of a Material Handler are as follows:

  • Picks and packs product
  • Unload material from trailer and stacks on pallets
  • Loads material into trailer
  • Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules

Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
