Job Title
Nuclear Technical Assistant (experienced level)
This position is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Brunswick Nuclear Plant Site Support Services Section in the areas of Self Evaluation, Emergency Planning & Licensing and Reg Affairs, which includes, but is not limited to; support in the areas of maintaining and updating data utilizing Passport and other database files, file management, preparing and maintaining documentation. Proficiency in the use of standard software packages and accurate keyboard skills required. Basic math skills and must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with database maintenance preferred.
Required Experience and Education:
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge in general office support-related administrative functions and skills. The candidate will be able to effectively apply these skills in accomplishing tasks, and be able to perform complex administrative duties.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Desired Skills/Background: The incumbent should possess a working level knowledge of the Microsoft suite of computer software including Access, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Experience with Indus PassPort, with emphasis on Action Tracking is desired. The position also requires that the incumbent possess interpersonal and intrapersonal traits such as strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to provide effective oral and written communication, a high degree of initiative and motivation, and high work standards.
Qwiz Administrative Testing is required for this position.
