Description The Assistant General Manager is a member of the Property Management Team. He/she has leadership and management responsibilities for the Front Desk operations and staff. The Assistant General Manager will have the opportunity to utilize his/her skills and talents to:

  • Assist in leading and managing various hotel operations including staffing, P&L responsibilities, sales & marketing, guest services, facilities management and manager-on-duty oversight
  • Lead and manage the front desk operations (and breakfast and shuttle van and security, where applicable)
  • Establish a positive work environment and an attitude of exceptional guest service and superior food product quality
  • Enforce policies and procedures established by the company, the hotel brand and applicable state and local health codes

    • Requirements The ideal Assistant General Manager will present the following:

  • College degree or related work experience
  • Three years of hotel experience with two years in a management position
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse
  • Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Strong leadership and a professional image
