Global Aeronautica (GA) is a joint venture of Alenia North America, a Finmeccanica Company, and The Boeing Company. The company's role is to support Boeing's 787 Dreamliner program as a major subassembly hub for the 787, integrating large airframe structures from manufacturers in Japan and Italy. Job Summary
Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality processes and standards System in areas including, but not limited to, supplier, MRB and program quality engineering. Review engineering designs for compliance with quality requirements. Ensure AS9100 compliance for Quality Systems.
Major Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures and work rules to support and maintain an AS9100-compliant Quality Management.
Develop and implement AS9100 processes.
Ensure compliance with AS9102 (First Article Inspection) requirements.
Participate in process improvement planning in a Team based environment.
Develop and maintain required process metrics.
Perform process quality audits and internal audits of the QMS.
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor units to ensure requirements are met.
Coordinate with customers on product quality issues, escapes and development of corrective actions.
Quality focal for incorporation of customer requirements (e.g. – Commonality Matrix) into GA processes.
Support Program Reviews and Quality Compliance Audits.
Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Participate in corrective action investigation and implementation including, assignment of corrective action request at time defect is submitted and support of Corrective Action Board (CAB) and Change Board activities.
Comply with safety regulations and promote safe working environment.

ABET Certified Degree required.
