Description

General
The purpose of this position is to provide human resources management and administrative support to the leadership and workforce of Powertrain in the activities of benefits, employee relations, employment, labor relations and personnel.
 
Core Responsibilities

  •  Administer benefit plans for union and non-union employees, retirees and eligible dependents.
  •  Advise, counsel and coach business leaders at all levels on workforce related issues. particularly: benefits and employment.
  •  Assist in the management of the affirmative recruiting programs to produce qualified candidate in the shortest possible time.
  •  Provide employment-related advice and counseling to employees and managers.
  •  Profile assistance to Employment, Training, Benefits and Compensation.
     
     Skills & Knowledge
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) must successfully complete testing on computer skills.
  •  Experience with human resources information system.
  •  Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

    Minimum Education and Experience

  •  Associates degree required.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  •  Seven to ten years experience in human resources administration including employment,   employee relations, payroll and/or benefits administration.
