Job Description

The Grant Manager is responsible for securing funding to carry out Hope Network's mission. The position is primarily responsible for researching, writing and managing grants, and working on foundation fundraising projects as needed.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research for the organizations fundraising needs and programs - including foundation, state and federal funding as deemed appropriate.
Develop, draft and submit proposals related to foundation project goals and make funding recommendations to the VP/Executive Director.
Maintain comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date files, records and systems.
Assist with the development of proposal budgets and review financial reports.

Requirements:
College Degree required with a major in business, communications, journalism or public relations preferred.
Three to five years prior work experience in non-profit sector; including researching, writing and managing grants.
Successful track record with grant writing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
