Responsible for providing nurse triage services via telephone and marketing Memorial Health and related corporate entities, physician, services, programs via the telephone. Responsible for providing the appropriate nursing options within the guidelines and limits of NurseOne, and related McKesson HBOC clinical protocols and established criteria. Participates, as needed, in health related promotion activities. ADN required, BSN preferred, current Georgia license. Superior nursing skills, good clinical knowledge and basic counseling skills, working knowledge of personal computers, and related telemarketing software, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of effective communication tactics, good organizational skills, solid telephone techniques and skills. At least 3 years experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical/surgical and/or a pediatric clinical area, along with successful experience in a 'lead worker' or charge nurse capacity. Additional InformationWeekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
