Job Description
Dealer Interaction

  • Define, prioritize, and develop strategies to maximize retail units and market share gains for targeted dealers. Review retail forecasts, inventory management, retail program activity and competitive pressures in Targeted dealers area.

  • Complete In field hay demonstrations and customer clinics for targeted dealers. Support Region Events as required.


Customer Interaction



  • Research and Identify influential and conquest customers with assigned Target dealers.

  • Research and identify Quality hay production practices as related to customers in the Dairy and Livestock business. Review production practices with Customer and Dealer.

  • Partner with local universities on research activities and events.


Region Interaction



  • Review Order writing, business planning with assigned targeted dealers as well as Current SMT.

  • Support training activities, promotional events as required at non Targeted dealers.

  • Assess Target dealers for financial viability, Resource needs, Parts and Service requirements.


Marketing Interaction



  • Provide market needs, competitive position to Brand Marketing Managers.

  • Manage launch process to ensure successful commercial launch for each new product at dealer & Region level.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction to identify product and support requirements. Provide feedback to brand marketing managers.



Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Agronomy, Animal Nutrition or other Ag related field.

  • 3+ years of direct selling and marketing experience with knowledge of competitive practice, equipment capabilities, marketing techniques, business management, materials creation and current farming practices.

  • Experience in Quality Hay & Forage production practices

  • Experience in livestock customer segments

  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
