Responsibilities
This is a 2nd shift position - 2:15-10:15 pm.
-Support Continuous Improvement Projects
-Support Customer Team (Process)
-Support Process Optimization
-Support New Assembly Transitions
-Support Development of Product Tooling
-Support DFM Development
-Support Assembly Build Instructions
-Support New Customer Introductions
-Support User Group Implementations
-Support Failure Analysis
-Support Process Qualification/Validation
-Lead Customer ECOs Implementation
-Support process yield Improvements
-Support definition and maintenance of product routings
-Support product set-up
-Support troubleshooting and reactive maintenance
-Lead recommendation of the part format (Tape vs bulk)
-Lead the design and procurement of customer specific tooling
-Support Cost Reduction
-Supports the translation of customer documentation into the Plexus standard format.
-Lead component engineering support to other functional groups
All candidates must have legal authorization to permanently live and work in the United States without visa or employer sponsorship.
Education/Experience:
-Individual typically has an Associates degree in electronics, industrial tech or similar or equivalent experience.
-Individual typically has at least three to five years experience in a similar role.
-The employee must successfully complete all internal training courses offered by the company necessary to do the job.
