Job Description

This position is responsible for directing the ambulatory strategies and related facility development for the CHI Market Based Organizations (MBOs).  This includes identification of potential sites, scope of services to be provided, and the development of facilities through third parties.  Individual will work with other Strategy Operations Team (SOT) members and MBO representatives to identify and develop ambulatory services.

 

  •  Develop methodologies to identify and size the ambulatory services.
  •  Work with third party developers to structure off balance sheet projects.
  •  Facilitate and coordinate ambulatory service initiatives across MBOs.
  •  Assist MBOs to engage physicians (as appropriate) in participation of ambulatory projects.
  •  Provide leadership and knowledge for ambulatory projects to SOT and individual MBOs.
  •  Develop methodologies and strategies to finance ambulatory projects in conjunction with the finance group.
  •  Coordinate National and MBO knowledge sharing work groups to facilitate the transfer of ambulatory services development and operations activities.
  •  Assist MBOs in the understanding and cultural change regarding the conceptual and operating activities in ambulatory vs acute care settings.

     

     

    Job Requirements

    -Five years experience in physician joint ventures, ambulatory development, imaging centers, or third party development.-Minimum of 10 years of experience in health care or health care consulting including a minimum of five years of experience in a senior management position in a corporate, regional or multi-facility health system. -Masters Degree in business, healthcare or a related field.
